Declaring unfriending/unliking.

I've seen it a million times at this point. A heated debate breaks out over something on Facebook and suddenly people are unfriending and blocking each other.

But it's not enough to simply unfriend and move on. The parties involved have to declare their intentions to the whole world to demonstrate just how fed up they are. They might even go on to vaguebook about it.

Or you'll see it on a lot of Facebook pages too. The page posts something the user doesn't like and they have to declare to the whole world, "I'm unliking this page!" The user then sits around, waiting for the likes and comments to come in.

But I'll let you in on a little secret: no one cares. Seriously. No one cares that you're unliking a page or unfriending a person.

The universe doesn't revolve around you. There's over a billion active users on Facebook. Do what you're going to do and stop complaining.
