2. Firecracker vine

These vines, native to Mexico, construct a bright red flower that will eventually fade to an orange and yellowish color. Usually these only bloom between the summer and fall, but if you live in an extra warm climate, it could bloom year-round.

They are also deer resistant and drought tolerant once they are planted, and flourish in areas of either direct or partial sun exposure.
