You will need:

  • the juice of 1 organic lemon, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of raw, unfiltered honey. Find a local source if you can.
  • 1/4 cup of unfiltered apple cider vinegar.
  • 1/2 cup of pure water.
  1. Bring the water to a boil. This will happen quickly. Pour the boiling water into a mug.
  2. Stir in the apple cider vinegar.
  3. Allow this to steep for a few minutes, then add the honey and cayenne pepper.
  4. Stir well, then squeeze in your lemon juice.
This can be drank twice a day for the duration of the sinus infection. I recommend morning and night.

The apple cider vinegar is good for your immune system overall. It also acts as an antibacterial agent, preventing the spread of bacteria and killing it off in your sinuses. The cayenne pepper is spicy, thus helping your sinuses drain. The lemon juice contains vitamin C, which is also good for your immune system, and the honey is naturally soothing and functions as a mild anti-bacterial agent as well.
