4. Frozen vegetarian dinners.

There are better ways to get your vegetables, than through broccoli, and cauliflower in some weird cheese sauce, you get in a bag out of the freezer section of your grocery store. The vegetables could be nice and fresh if they were frozen soon enough, but the sauces on them have gross amounts of sodium, and trans fat, so if you want frozen veggies, choose the plain ones, and add some butter or olive oil when you get home for a healthier alternative.

5. Mayonnaise.

Whether you like it or not mayo is in over 90% of family fridges in America. It is a staple for some additional flavor to any burger, or sandwich. However, this has a huge amount of unnecessary calories that can turn a healthy sandwich into a disaster, but if you crave a creamy condiment for your sandwich, pesto could be the answer. Pesto has delicious flavor and healthy oils that are beneficial for your heart.

6. Low fat dairy products.

While you might want to pick up the low fat, or fat free yogurt, or milk, but that may not be the healthy choice you believe it to be. Certain foods such as avocados, oils, and nuts, contain healthy fats that are essential for your health. Dairy products actually contain these fats, so fat free options would not be as healthy as full fat milk. The same goes for yogurt, and cheese products. A nutritional study has been done proving that full fat dairy products help reduce your daily calorie intake, and lead to weight loss.
