I love Facebook, as you could probably guess. Chances are, you've found this article on Facebook! It's a great way to get and stay connected with people near and far. And of course, like anywhere else in life, there's a certain etiquette that you should follow in order to make sure that you, and everyone you're friends with, has a good time.

1. Vaguebooking.

We all know what "vaguebooking" is. When someone posts a status update that is intentionally vague in order to cry for attention or strike back at the person they're made at. An example of vaguebooking? "I'm so distraught right now. I can't believe this would happen!" It's like a clickbait headline. You pretty much have to find out what happens next.

2. Announcements.

It's not a bad thing to make announcements on Facebook. It's an easy way to blast an important message to a lot of people with varying levels of importance in your life. Remember before Facebook and email when you had to call everyone you knew every time something cool happened? Here's the etiquette though: if it's big, call your close friends and family FIRST. Grandma won't want to hear about your engagement from Facebook first.

3. Blasting your other social media on Facebook.

If you're on Facebook, chances are, you don't care what's going on on their twitter or their myspace or their G+. Keep Facebook as just Facebook. If we wanted to see what you were pinning, we'd go to your Pinterest.
