 Cobra Position Or Bhujang asana

This position is aimed to burn belly fat as well as strengthen your ab muscles, your entire upper body and improve the flexibility of your spine and back.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Begin this position by lying down on your stomach with your legs stretched all the way out. Try to keep each of your palms directly underneath your shoulders. Keeping your chin and toes touching the floor. Slowly take a big breath as you raise your chest up off of the ground, bending yourself upward while your legs are still stretched out on the floor. You should look like a cobra who is ready to strike.

Hold this position for 15 to 30 seconds and exhale slowly as you bring yourself down to the floor again. Repeat this process for about 5 times with a 15 second break in between sets.

Begin this practice while laying down on your back, bending both legs at the knee and pulling your knee towards your torso. Keep yourself in this position for about 20 seconds or until you can no longer maintain. Make sure to repeat this exercise twice for both of your legs.

Practice 3:

Begin this practice lying down on your back, bending your right leg at the knee. Stretch your left leg outward above your head. Grasp your leg with both hands underneath the knee and pull it towards your torso, maintaining the pulling motion for 30 seconds. Make sure to repeat this twice for both of your legs.
